Sarah is a lifelong Alaskan who has nearly 20 years of experience in the social services field. She is now raising her own family in Juneau, Alaska. Sarah has a BA in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and completed a MSW at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Sarah has been with the Office of Children’s Services since 2005 encompassing a variety of roles, including 13 years of direct-service field work. She currently serves as the Social Services Program Administrator in state office. Sarah oversees instrumental statewide child welfare programs, such as the resource family program, service array, adoptions, and regulation development. Sarah is a dedicated advocate for safe children and strong families, and finding effective solutions to difficult child welfare issues.
