Born and raised in the Mat-Su Valley, Rebecca Peterson brings her valuable lived experience and passion for human services to the AIA. Rebecca is a graduate of the Families Infants and Toddlers (FIT) court. As a dedicated mother of four, Rebecca has transformed her personal journey into a powerful commitment to helping others. With her Human Services training and pursuit of Peer Support Certification, she has found her calling at the Alaska Youth and Family Network, an organization honored as the Alaska Peer Support Agency of the Year 2024.
In her role as a Family Navigator, Rebecca offers peer support, advocacy, and parent coaching, connecting vulnerable families to vital community services. Her work not only provides practical guidance but also fosters hope for those navigating complex circumstances.
