Lindsay Prunella is the Operations Manager for R.O.C.K. Mat-Su. R.O.C.K. stands for Raising Our Children with Kindness and is a collective impact project that was born out of the Mat-Su Health Foundation’s 2013 Community Needs Assessment and a host of passionate local champions in the many various fields that touch the lives of children and families… in the Mat-Su. R.O.C.K. has 16 different strategies focused on improving the systems that families and children come in contact with and impact their lives. Lindsay started with R.O.C.K. Mat-Su 4 years ago. She has a background in social work and moved to Alaska the first time in 2011 to work as a behavior health clinician and prevention specialist at Alaska Island Community Services in Wrangell, AK. She moved back to Alaska a second time in 2017 to work in her current position AND because Alaska is a state that just gets under your skin and into your heart and makes it impossible to stay away. Lindsay spends her time outside of work with her partner Rory wrangling a host of adorable monsters (3 dogs, 2 cats, fish, and a wild toddler).
