Kristen Bierma, MS, LPA is the Executive Director of Beacon Hill in Anchorage. She has served Alaska’s children and families since 1994 as a clinician in private practice and on a diagnostic team assessing Autism in young children. She has also gained experience as a foster parent, educator and author, and mom to three children.

Since 2017, Kristen has engaged in the work of child welfare, first as a supervisor for Safe Families for Children and then as Executive Director of Beacon Hill’s three programs that serve and support children in foster care or those at risk. She is passionate about engaging the community to fill the gap for vulnerable children in Alaska.
