Emily Urlacher

Emily Urlacher (she/her) is currently a Public Health Specialist II within the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Public Health, Section of Women’s, Children’s & Family Health. Currently, Emily focuses her work on improving the early childhood systems in Alaska by supporting the marriage of health and early childhood education to support Alaska families with young children. She does this through her work focused on developmental screening, Help Me Grow Alaska implementation, supporting community early childhood system building, and other projects with various partners. Emily is also a co-coordinator of the Alaska Early Childhood Coordinating Council (AECCC), co-facilitates the Alaska Early Childhood Network (ECN), and facilitates the statewide Universal Developmental Screening Advisory Committee (UDSAC).
