Cassie Stenehjem

Cassie was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Alaska. She currently works as a Behavioral Health Consultant at Southcentral Foundation in Pediatrics and supports the work of the New Generations Project as the Young Child Wellness Expert. Her experience includes working with children birth to 18 and their caregivers through brief interventions, trauma work, play therapy, and crisis stabilization. Cassie has a passion for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and is excited to do what she can to support children and their caregivers in Alaska. When she’s not at work, Cassie enjoys playing outside with her one-year-old son, Anders, her 13-year-old son, Jackson, and her husband, Cameron.
