Brenda Ursel has been with ACRF as an Adoption Specialist/Trainer  for the last 15 years where she provides training, and  support  to resource families, OCS and our community partners.  She is also the coordinator for the ACRF PARKA Program and has also been involved in many collaborative projects to improve services and outcomes for the children and families we serve. Brenda holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, and has completed post graduate work in therapy focusing on  foster and adoptive families. Brenda is also a Trust Based Relational Intervention Educator and was the first person to introduce this training to Alaska. Brenda is an adoptive parent of three children.
