Stigma is a major barrier to progress across public health, mental health, and substance use treatment efforts. It can prevent people from seeking the services and support they need—impacting both individual well-being and community health.

What stigma is and how it shows up in our communities. How stigma impacts health outcomes and access to care. Why some conditions are stigmatized while others are not. Key theories and factors that influence stigma

What We’ll Do Together:

Explore real-world examples and experiences. Collaborate on strategies to reduce stigma. Brainstorm practical ways to support your community. Identify approaches specific to Valdez
