Dr. Ingrid Johnson (UAF Justice Department) and Rei Shimizu (UAA School of Social Work) are excited to announce our fourth annual Alaska restorative justice symposium:

“To reduce screen-fatigue, we have spread this year’s events over three afternoons from 1-4 PM each day. The sessions will include the perspectives of people who have participated in restorative processes in Alaska; a review of formal, legal pathways into RJ programs in Alaska; a deep dive into the role of RJ facilitators; and three ‘program development dialogues’ where newer RJ programs in Alaska will share about their work and get feedback from symposium attendees.”
