Learn how Family Resource Centers (FRCs) are creatively supporting kin caregivers and grandfamilies across the country. This webinar will spotlight six Family Resource Centers spanning rural and urban communities, immigrant-serving and faith-based programs, and school-based and mobile models. You’ll hear real-world examples from programs in Arizona, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Virginia that are recognized for their leadership and innovation in serving kinship/grandfamilies.

Explore how they are elevating culturally responsive and replicable program models, engagement strategies, and innovations for supporting kinship families. These spotlights will demonstrate how FRCs are implementing relationship-based practices and community-rooted design to create powerful impact in diverse communities.

Leave this webinar with practical tools and replicable ideas to apply in your own community and a better understanding of:

  • Proven engagement strategies for supporting kin caregivers and grandfamilies
  • Real-world innovations including mobile outreach, bilingual peer support, and school-based programming
  • Program models that center relationship, trust, and community voice
  • Collaborative opportunities between kinship navigator programs and family resource centers to reach more kin caregivers and provide additional services

This webinar is co-hosted by the Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network and the National Family Support Network, a Network subject matter expert.
