Beth Tyson will deliver a 2-hour virtual, interactive training session on ambiguous loss in children in out-of-home care. This session will deepen participants’ understanding of trauma-informed care, ambiguous loss, and recognize how it uniquely manifests in the lives of children and families in foster care. The session will include live demonstrations of how specific activities can be implemented with children in real-time.

Beth Tyson is a healer, an educator, a mother, and a flawed human being who shares in the joys, fears, and sadness that you do. In 2019 her professional journey as a trauma therapist transformed into a mission to educate others to support children navigating adversity. While this work can weigh heavy on her heart, the tenacity and love of the families she works with gives her hope and purpose.
