Facilitating Attuned Interactions, or FAN, is a framework for building attuned, collaborative relationships between human service professionals and the families they serve. Supervisor FAN helps you listen more deeply and attune more effectively to your supervisees. The use of FAN in supervision builds

competence and confidence in supervisees, supports the development of trusting relationships, and strengthens programs. It presumes that being a supervisor does not necessarily mean that you have all the answers, and it promotes true collaboration with supervisees. As a result, useful ideas are generated and new approaches that fit individual families can be found.

*If you live outside the Anchorage area, we can support approved applicants with funds for associated with travel to the training, please indicate in your application that you require these training access funds.*
